Kristen Bell and Louis C.K. to guest on Family Guy

Bell plays a possible love interest for Brian, while C.K. plays himself

Kristen Bell is sneaking out of The Good Place to visit the land of animation again.

The time, the Frozen alum will lend her voice to Family Guy, playing a possible love interest for Brian, EW has learned exclusively.

In an episode of the animated Fox comedy slated to air in November, the Griffin canine meets her character, Martha (as seen below), when he gets a job at a suicide prevention hotline. "Brian falls for his officemate, Martha — a young woman trying to make her way in the big city," says Family Guy executive producer Rich Appel. "She comes complete with her own theme song, which, like all great sitcom theme songs, literally tells you everything you need to know about her." He adds: "Kristen Bell's voice alone could sell anything."

Bell has appeared on a Seth MacFarlane animated show before, voicing a character on The Cleveland Show. She returns to NBC's The Good Place for season 2, which begins on a special night, Wednesday, Sept. 20 before airing in its regular, Thursday-at-8:30 slot on Sept. 28. In addition, the Veronica Mars vet hits the big screen in A Bad Moms Christmas in November. (And, yes, she'll reprise her role as Anna in Frozen 2, which hits theaters in 2019.)

Another famous name coming to Quahog is Louis C.K., who plays himself in the season 15 premiere. The episode, which pokes fun at the Emmys, imagining the Griffins' versions of such trophy-magnet shows as Modern Family and Breaking Bad. The Emmy-winning comedian joins a guest cast for that episode that includes Modern Family stars Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, and Sofia Vergara, as well as Bill Maher.

"Peter, now desperate for an Emmy, fortuitously runs into Louis C.K. on the street and tries to get the secret to winning the award from him," says executive producer Alec Sulkin.

Sulkin adds that C.K., who is a Family Guy fan, "hung out in one of our writers rooms for awhile and told everyone how much he likes the show. He was incredibly down to earth and acted like we were doing him a favor by giving him the part."
